Thanks for this response. Unfortunately I can't get an LMIA as I'm self-employed. But if I manage to extend my IEC visa, would this not help bridge the gap whilst waiting on my permanent resident status? It wouldn't be so much an 'implied' extension but rather an actual validated extension...
