Even though it says 8 days on the website, it can be 2-3 weeks on average. Took 3 weeks for my parents who applied recently.

I've read on the forum somewhere that the way the officer sees is, 1K/person/week of visit. I'm assuming approximately the same amount should be shown from both the applicants and the hosts side. And 2 weeks is the typical vacation duration in the west.

I got an AOR along with the study guide in the mail today. In the letter only my spouse's name and client ID are mentioned. However it says the letter is to acknowledge receipt of 2 adult applications. I just wanted to know if this is it or should I expect another AOR for me.

On saturday there were two updates in eCAS for my application. I requested a name change and I can see that now. The received line for my spouse is gone. I never had that line to begin with.

For PR, except the date you applied (Sep 2010 in my case), the rest of your dates are around 1 week off by mine. And now its Citizenship. Well, Good luck to you. :)
