this is a heartening news anisanges.. I did the same as you (sent the addendum ) but I haven't sent the email to CIO. this basically means they have accepted your addendum and will go through with the intake. has your CC been charged yet?

on 1) it is worth trying to reach them over email although there is no proven evidence that it has worked. on 2) if you have all docs needed to resubmit a new application, then i would go ahead with that. in my cases i did not have the original ielts report.
