sreeramp i am not wrong but yes may be PSK working style different in different states .... may passport issued in 2010 with same address & they sent my papers for police verification, where my wife's passport is just 3 months old when we have applied for PCC & without any police verification...

that's not correct..... address same & passport not older than 6 months than only u will get it on same day oresle again police verification require & that will take 6 to 10 days to get PCC......

don't worry same with me, one reason could be PCC verification if you have other than INDIA pcc... i m predicting or else GOD or CIC know the correct one..... :)
