    If it is already received by CGI toronto, then you can go to CGI as well.. CGI toronto have been responsive on email and twitter .. You can try that avenue as well

    100% I will let you know. If your flight is this Saturday, I would suggest you to go today only at 3pm (or a little before) and collect it . You will clearly know the status of what's happening. No point in waiting . Call them if possible

    you wife can apply for entry visa that is being issued to former Indian citizens. The processing time is around 7 days

    I think it is possible considering you expedite each and every step as Raj mentioned. entry visa comes in 7 days usually .

    Same was the case with my mother's passport renewal application. If it has been 8 weeks since you applied, reach out to Consulate for the reason for delay . They may not be fast at responding but keep emailing them and you will hear from them.

    Please check on OCI site as well . As per posts on this thread , OCI site updates in a more detailed way . In 3 weeks , post application date shown on OCI site, you can expect OCI no to be generated

    Applied for surrender on Oct 14 at bls Brampton in person Latest status changed on Oct 29th - certificate has been printed Oci - applied on Oct 20th at bls in person Oci status available on OCI site - Oct 29- under process
