Hi Guys, I want to settle in Vancouver due to its weather and proximity to US. However, everyone is telling me that it is far more expensive then Toronto and has lesser job opportunities. Do you concur with this? Is it advisable to land in Vancouver without having a job in hand?

I can understand your anxiety buddy, but I have seen cases here in the forum who have received PPR upto one month after DM. I know we all want to get through this process at the earliest, but it is not in our hands. I am sure, you would get your PPR pretty soon. Do keep checking your SPAM folder...

1 - Yes, send the documents by email as well, scan the documents in low-resolution (100 dpi), I am sure you can do it within 4 mb limit. 2 - Raise a CSE and ask for extension ASAP. WVO will not acknowledge receipt of documents, however, they will inform you of any deficiency in document. In...

    1. You don't need an appointment for PCC. You can walk-in at the PSK or Local DSP office. 2. Raise CSE to inform them about the delay. But then I don't understand why are you getting the passport re-issued at this stage? Even if you have to get it re-issued, do it under Tatkal scheme. Raise a...

Do not worry, in worst case scenario they may ask you to re-submit the photographs, nothing more than that. I had seen another person in the forum (Can't recollect the name now) who has submitted pictures without studio information, he got COPR and Visa.

Can't say much about DM status. It should be updated in a week's time at the max. VFS delhi will take around 10 working days due to student visa rush, otherwise it is usually 7 days. I submitted my passports yesterday. Waiting for COPR and Visa to be stamped.
