I live in Alberta as well and the activation of my return label took only a week. When did you get your nomination? I got mine in October 2013 so maybe that has something to do, they might be trying to process quicker the oldest ones.

Mine got Activated Today as well. Received at Ottawa on the 20th of October and return Tracking activated Today 28th of October.

Finally got my PPR after a week and a half that the status changed to Decision made. :) So happy, finally the wait is over.

you can check the information for the border crossing closer to you at ezbordercrossing website. You can also request a landing interview at the closest CIC office to you, you don't have to do the flagpoling to do the landing.

It changed Yesterday but I have not received any notification from CIC.
