I called in and changed my email address. They didn't ask me to fill out a form or anything. I just told them my new email over the phone. I don't know how long it took since I didn't get a "confirmation email". I just received AIP a month later to the correct email address. Perhaps you should...

We finally received my hubby's FBI clearance! The stamp on the envelope says that it was mailed on February 3rd...and our landlord just gave it to us...along with other important mail from January... >:(

Sorry to hear you're having trouble! My husband got a job with his OWP, but he also sent his resume to several places and only heard back from one. It can depend on the area you live, and how many places are hiring. Keep on trying though, and I'm sure you'll get one soon! EDIT: One thing...

14September2013, I didn't send them a letter, because we just got our AIP on Feb 10th, and we're expecting (hoping) to have the FBI clearance in hand shortly.

My husband is from the USA too, and he was asked for FBI clearance when he got AIP. It takes quite a while. We sent the fingerprints to their office on October 3, 2014, and haven't received it back yet. We are expecting it soon, though. On the website they are quoting a 14-16 week wait...

I'm not sure if everyone already knew this, but I certainly did not... I had a conversation with a lady at CRA regarding the HST/GST credits. She informed me that my spouse, even before he had his work visa, SIN, etc, was eligible for the credits. Apparently since he became a resident of Canada...

We did call a couple weeks ago. We were told that it either was already sent, or would be sent by Feb 6, 2015. Haven't got it yet though.

I finally got my OWP today. I'm a Sept 11, 2013 applicant. They sent the OWP to my old address (which I updated 8 months ago). I called in yesterday and spoke to an agent who confirmed my address...and it was correct, so I don't know how they got it wrong! But at least we have it now!!

So the email that I put on my application to sponsor my spouse isn't working anymore. All my old emails are deleted, and it's not receiving new ones. Anyways, I've tried calling CIC multiple times, and can't get through to anyone. I've tried emailing, but apparently unless I applied before...

My hubby is about to do his medical exam. Does anyone know who the best/cheapest examiner is for the greater Vancouver/Fraser Valley area is? I know that there is a list on the CIC website with the approved examiners, just wondering who's the best to go with. Thanks!
