I had applied on 1 august at vfs chandigarh .could u plz provide me an email address so that i can knw my visa status directly

I called at vfs chd and They already courier my documents on 21 August 2014,But they send an email on 21 august 2014 around 7 pm to provide requested documents to VFS chandigarh why did they send back my passport?? is this sign of refusal?
