1. Application received - May 21, 2015
2. AoR sent - July 15, 2015
3. Started processing - September 3, 2015
4. Date of test - December 1, 2015
5. Decision Made - December 3, 2015
6. Oath - February 12, 2016
Mississauga reporting. My wife had her test taken on the 1st of December, and the ecas status changed to Decision Made 2 days later. She was told to expect a letter for the oath within 2-3 months. Nothing yet. I will report once we receive any correspondence, and update the tracker too.
Mostly they are concerned with your IDs. I had taken the following documents, all original. However..they did not check any of these documents:
a. Latest pay stub
b. Property tax receipt
c. Tax returns
d. Degree certificates and marksheets
They only checked my health card, driver's license, PR...
My total days absent was 236. The officer added the missed entry in the sheet, changed the days absent to 258 and in the comments section wrote:
"Did not declare one absence.
No further comments."
Nothing else. She verified my IDs, verified my phone numbers, my address, whether i own my home or rent it, and then went on to verify the passport stamps. That's when we realised that the absence had been missed.
Correction. If you land at the airport, your passport will definitely get stamped, whether PR or not. However, if you are driving through from the US, your passport might not get stamped.
