It is written on cic.gc.ca that "Letter of Introduction is required at the port of entry for issuing study permit to the student and the officer there will verify it before issuing you one". Even the Canadian Embassy (when telephoned) says that this Letter is necessary for the students...

Hi everyone, please help me, my visa was approved 2 weeks ago but I still haven't received letter of introduction. What should I do, my consultant says not required but on CIC web site it is wriiten "to be shown at port of entry"... Please any input is appreciated.....
