I have a question. If one lands in Canada, driving from Detroit to Windsor and completes the Landing Formalities. PR may be received in Canada after 2-3 months, and then returns to US (L1 or H1 visa) and is not a US citizen, Can he return to Canada before he gets his PR card ?

In your timeline, you show NDVO. Then why did the PPR request come from NY Visa Office ?

I have a similar timeline (May 16). My FBI PCC reached on 16th Jan 2015. Still waiting.........

Below are my timelines:- Application Date:- 16th May, 2014 PER :- 8th August, 2014 Medicals :- 28th October, 2014. Including the new born child and completed his medicals :- 15th Nov, 2014. RPRF paid 15th Nov, 2014 FBI PCC :- Jan 14th , 2015. Any predictions, when will I get my PPR ?

I read few posts where people had moved to US and they moved their stamping from NDVO to New York VO.

You can request them to transfer you to LVO for stamping. In that case, they will issue you a new PPR from LVO. You can also write to LVO for stamping. Few people have done it that way. Whats your NOC code and timeline ?

Generally it takes a week or two for NDVO to respond to this request. I had a similar condition and got the medical request for the newborn in 10 days after submitting all the Documents.

What do I need to do to get rid of my agent. If I fill the 'Use of Representative' form , and remove the agent, do I have to mail the document or I can even email them. Also, how do I ensure that they start using my email Id , instead of Agent's email Id for further communications.

Agreed. That's my mistake. So should I sent the 'Use of Representative' form to NDVO and cancel the representation. Also, all the communication with NDVO happens via email. How do I give them my new email.

I have used an agent for FSW process. She has ripped me apart as far as the process goes and even money wise. She is still expecting more. I am done with medicals in October. I was waiting for FBI PCC to be send to NDVO. What should I do ?

I got the FBI PCC on 9th January, 2015. My fingerprints were at FBI office on 26th September, 2014.

I am in Michigan. Can anyone tell me any Channelors who can get the FBI PCC / Background Report. I posted the Fingerprints from India and they reached there on 26th September. Since it takes so long and there is always a risk of rejection, I wanted to keep some kind of backup ready.

For USA PCC, we need to fill form FD-258. For people in Mumbai, the finger printing can be done in the MRA Police station, very near to Haj Building near CST station. The question I have is that do we have to post our photograph anywhere on the FD-258 form ? Please help....
