You get email on the same day or other day. only few ppl get in it day before the passport dispatch. So, if your status has changed today, you might find that mail by tomorrow. If not, then there is a serious problem.

Even I applied under SPP category from Mumbai VFS on 29th May. Still no response. I'm planning to visit Embassy on 23rd or 24th July. I think that will be last thing. But I'm not sure how fruitful it will be? Also, will they even entertain us? If they do not meet us, then? Anyone has any idea...

I am told that the last option is to go to Delhi Embassy.

Done with both these in June. But VFS said that they can't do anything. To the max, I can send them a letter to expedite the process, but its optional. Filled up the form but got no reply. After which, I emailed them twice. Even mentioned "Urgent" in the subject line. :-(

Dude..same case is mine. its been 33 days today. However, I have applied for work visa simultaneously. Do you think this might have extended the decision? And can you share your profile. I too have applied from VFS mumbai on 29th May under SPP.
