Is anyone here from calgary? I received an email from cic today and said they tranfered my application here in cic calgary for further assessment. Does any one of you know what that could mean? Thanks

You don't have to pay the open work permit holder's fee. It does not apply to LIC applicants. If you over payed, they will refund the money. But its just gonna take months before you get it back.

Ya i received aor april 3rd. But I submitted my pr application march 1st. I had to re-submit my owp application because i made a mistake with the open work holders fee payment. Im still waiting for OWP. Last time I called, they said its still in process

Oh no, my work permit will expire on April 8th. I called them earlier today, and they said they might return the application. They told me i can either wait for CIC's reply or send in another application with cover letter explaining what happened. I decided to mail another application today and...

Re: about pay slip When are you applying? You need payslips/ statement of earnings and deductions. Its on the checklist.

Is room and board part of the deductions in your payslips?

Thanks :) Did you apply using option 2 as well? Coz the others are saying to submit the timesheets just to be sure. But it says on the check list timesheet for overtime workd hours claimed. But I was able to complete more than 3900 hours without overtime.

16. Timesheets signed by your current and previous employer(s) clearly indicating the date and number of hours worked for all overtime hours claimed AND --- But it says for all overtime hours claimed only.. Should I still submit it just to be sure?
