Today I took the oath of citizenship, the journey is over for me and I hope soon for all you fellow Juners!!

I did my test on Nov 28th at 12:45 pm and got my oath invitation on the same day for Dec 8th!

I love Canada. Yes life here is expensive and taxes are high and the winters suck, however, it's a great country that accepted me and treated me as an equal from the moment I landed. It's healthcare system is great despite its flaws. Canadians are accepting and tolerant. Whatelse can we ask for...

Passed the test and my oath is scheduled for Dec 8th! The long journey is almost over!!

My test is this Friday and have to say I'm quite nervous. Been studying for the last week and have to say there is so much info especially around dates and names, which I personally struggle with. Can't remember them all! I hope the test will be easy and the interview that follows. Wish me luck...

Yes ecas got updated today. I am actually out of the country at the moment so not sure I have received the letter or not. I'm back on the 23rd so will check then.

By the way I actually live in downtown Toronto but my application was transferred to Mississauga office.

I finally have an update on ECAS!! My test is scheduled for Nov 28th! They sent me a notice on Nov 13th!! Very happy that things are moving! Hope other Juners received some good updates as well!

Just called CIC was informed that they started processing my file on September 23rd and my file hasn't been transferred to the local office yet. When I called last month they said that my file was already transferred to Mississuaga which is my local office. Conflicting information from two...
