travelling after oath without Canadian passports

If you are from a visa exempted country there shouldn't be any problem to come back to Canada. My advice would be to bring your citizenship certificate with you (just in case)to show it at the border if its necessary .Although it's not a travel document, it can still prove your legal status once...

Urgent please advise...address change after test invitation

I definitely agree with Eminem. I had to move out of the country temporary during my citizenship process and during that time, I had all my mails forwarded abroad. Everything went well with Canada post in my case and I received all my citizenship notice on time.

long trip while application in process (my experience)

I agree with you Eileen, but there's nothing that says one cannot leave temporary, besides I payed my taxes for the last year and still is an employee here as I'm on maternity leave (wich can be spent abroad) and my husband has got his work permit to settle down here. long trip while application in process (my experience)

I think that the reason why I didn't get Rq is because I had evidence that I intend to go back to Canada like employment letter ext, it had nothing to do with my pregnancy/maternity leave. Anyway many people are worried about trips/leaving while application in process, that's why I thought...

Bill C-24 Second Reading on February 27th:

Canadian88, they won't revoke your citizenship because you're living abroad. Canadian citizens can live wherever they want, that's right granted by the constitution. They will only revoke the citizenship of the dual citizens convicted of terrorism, high treason, spying on Canada etc so you...

Bill C-24 Second Reading on February 27th:

I don't want/mean to criticize anyone here because we are all in the same boat, but I agree with both Kaplan and Anon123. People are really going crazy about this citizenship thing.People are cancelling their vacation so they can apply faster, wondering if they should get married or have kid...

I also got married during my citizenship process and it didn't change anything. I mentioned it during my test/interview and the officer wrote in my file that's it. Enjoy your wedding, that's way more important than citizenship although I understand your concerns and your wish to become citizen...
