Thanks bonitaellada, that's what I think. I posted both old and new passports yesterday morning and explained why I am sending the old version, I hope they will not lose my passports. This morning NY office received the documents. waiting continues :)

Are you sure about this? I just got my new passport in March and there is nothing in it to confirm that I am in US.
