Did you enter the DLI number (Designated Learning Institute) anywhere in the online app? CIC has a list of community colleges that fall under SPP category so technically by looking at the college name and/or the DLI number it can tell which category you shall fall into.

Hi Guys, Is it only me who applied on 25 Oct from VFS Delhi and still has no news on visa! I am seeing many people are getting visas in as little as 2weeks! The wait is getting frustrating, not sure if this delay is a good or bad sign :( What do you think of my profile? My Profile Education...

Yep I was told by the Vfs guy while applying that max you should be looking at a window of 5-6 weeks.

Sent the mail two days ago and still no response yet. Just an auto generated acknowledge mail.

I contacted the Vfs Helpline and they told me to mail the embassy directly as it has been more than 2 weeks.

Guys please share your details if you have applied for a study permit on or nearby 25th October from India. My details- Applied on : 25th Oct Where : VFS Delhi Course : MSc CS University/College : UoGuelph Status : Visa Not received yet

I think three months before should be sufficient. You do that before and CIC might object on the purpose of early application. I have applied in last week Oct for my Mid Jan intake.

Sounds good all the best ! I applied through the VFS Delhi and gave the medical upfront, hopefully I wont have to do it again. I was checking some other posts and its funny some guys were asked to resubmit the medical even they did upfront. How about you?
