You don't need to update anything on ECAS and your PR will be sent on your Canadian address.

I took photos from outside Canada with a non-Canadian photo studio address. As long as the pictures are compliant, then there is no issue.

Sorry I misread your question. I received PR of my spouse from Canada to my home country without a problem.

Yes I did from abroad on March 29th and still waiting for my card.

I am in a similar situation. I landed on January 22nd at Pearson, my wife got her PR card on March 9th and I was requested to resubmit my photos. New photos received by CIC on March 29th and still waiting for my PR card. No wonder how long it will take.

I know several who sent pictures from abroad and had no problems in getting the PR card. Did you call them to follow up before you were sent the picture request?

How did you receive the notification for photo request i.e. email or post?

eventhough you will send your passport to canadian high commission in Riyadh but when you will get your passport with visa, on visa page you will see "Issued At: LONDON".
