What were the CIC mistakes? Can you share here with us why your applications were returned?

Hi. Did you call CIC to inquire about yout case, and have they made a note in their system that you application will be returned to you? I was just wondering, if they make notes ,or they dont bither to make notes ,that the file is being returned

I am June 16 applicant, but havent received any AOR yet.. sorry guys just voicing out my frustration. Hopefully my file wont be returned

4.5 months have passed and still I haven't received my PR card.... I try not to be affected by it,but everytime I pass by the mailbox, I hoping to see it... I feel I have been cheated by CIC..it so unfair to learn that there are somenwho landed just last month and they have their cards already

An agent told me to expect it in the mail 1st week of February.

I called CIC it will be 120 days next week, and my card was not even mailed yet!!!! :( so frustrating. CIC lied to me.

Well now that the processing time is reduced, it is not unreasonable for me to expect the card sooner than before. But alas, I called again this time they said mine wasn't even mailed yet! Add another 6 weeks of mailing time, that' s an agonizing wait...

It's been more than 3.5 months since I landed.. I haven't received my PR card yet. I called CIC, and the agent told me to expect it 1st week of February. But no card came. It is so disappointing.. It feels like I've been lied to, despite me being honest in all my applications to CIC.

I just received email that my application is completed. I would like to thank everybody in this forum for sharing all your timelines, and experience. My application took 1 year to process since receipt by CIC in August 2014. SINGLE applicant, from ONTARIO.

you can go to service canada and have your sin car validity renewed. Actually, you will retain your SIN number ( begins with "9) until the time you obtain PR. You can renew now, or if you are lucky, wait for your PR next month...

if you already have your open work permit, then you can work wherever, whomever you want,including your old employer. You can have as many jobs as you want, hence you can work for another job even if you haven't terminated your contract.

if you already meet the requirements for option 1 or 2, pass the application as soon as you can then ask the employer to release you. You dont have to be employed while witing for open work permit.
