Test Completed But BACKGROUND CHECK in progress.

I hope you do not mind but I took your email and changed it around a little. If you like it, feel free to use it. If not, feel free to disregard it. I hope this was okay, I was just trying to help a little I am writing as my test was marked completed 5+ months ago, however, my criminality check...

Test Completed But BACKGROUND CHECK in progress.

That makes a bit of sense, however, in my case I think you are correct and it simply fell through the cracks. I contacted my MP and unfortunately the woman in his office who deals with IRCC was not very helpful. When she responded to my request she simply repeated what the IRCC agent said. It...

Test Completed But BACKGROUND CHECK in progress.

Unfortunately the reasons for urgent processing are very limited and I do not qualify

Test Completed But BACKGROUND CHECK in progress.

No problem at all! No, I did not come to Canada as a refugee or receive any kind of protected status. I came to Canada through obtaining a selection certificate from the government of Québec. This makes it even more puzzling as to why it is taking so long.

Test Completed But BACKGROUND CHECK in progress.

For the PR card renewal all they say is that it is in process. They are unable to give any information other than that. If they need more information they will contact me. That is the most frustrating part of both the PR renewal application and citizenship is that no one gives thorough...

Test Completed But BACKGROUND CHECK in progress.

It seems there is no reasoning to how applications are processed. Most get through okay and others seem to fall through the cracks and take forever. The worst part is the lack of communication

Test Completed But BACKGROUND CHECK in progress.

I think a year and nine months for the renewal is a very long time. The only reason I applied for it is because citizenship applications are taking a long time. Seems that I applied for nothing at this point. IRCC agents say they cannot say why it is taking so long. Just the same…..wait wait...

Test Completed But BACKGROUND CHECK in progress.

Nope. The agent said there is nothing that can be done and to just wait. I also applied for a PR card renewal when I saw how slow citizenship applications are going and I am still waiting on that as well a year and nine months later.

Test Completed But BACKGROUND CHECK in progress.

I just got off the phone with IRCC. All they could tell me is that my application is in process and that there is no further documentation required at this point. They told me word for word what is available online. Unfortunately, nothing more.

Test Completed But BACKGROUND CHECK in progress.

Unfortunately the webform does not seem to do anything. I am a July 2020 applicant so my processing time so far is 28 months. I wrote to IRCC one month ago and received the standard reply that my application is in process and due to COVID-19 blah blah blah. I have not been asked for anything to...

    July 2020 - Citizenship application

I never told people to get out of Canada if they criticize one small aspect. Simply read my comment and you will see I never once said to get out. This was taken out of context. I am certainly not anti-immigration nor telling people not to criticize it was the way it was done that I had a...

    July 2020 - Citizenship application

I am not "triggered" by people demanding better services. I am simply saying the way it was done by constant whinging gives fodder to the very people you think I should be part of to say no to immigration.

    July 2020 - Citizenship application

I posted a similar response to a similar comment on the 2021 PR Card renewal application forum. I am most certainly not a bot and I am an immigrant myself and do know the struggles of moving to another country. However, unless you are a refugee, who was forced out of their country, it was your...

    July 2020 - Citizenship application

I do read what people write. The original poster clearly is unhappy in Canada as they want to "run" away and feel others will too. Perhaps you should read in more depth what they are saying

    July 2020 - Citizenship application

I am not saying that criticizing bureaucracy is the same as 'condemning the nation." I was stating that the poster's comments in their entirety were. For someone that wants to be a Canadian citizen, they surely find a lot of fault with this country. If they are so unhappy, why not move...

PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

I want to start off by saying that I have been following this timeline for a while now and I appreciate the frustration that everyone is having regarding their PR Card renewal applications and the delays/intransparency of IRCC regarding the delays due to COVID-19. However, saying that I find it...

    July 2020 - Citizenship application

I don't think you are getting my point. I understand that people are frustrated with wait times that are getting longer, however to say people will want to "run" away is ludicrous. It is just a statement that seems to indicate that people will want to run away when they don't get what they want...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

I have a quick question. I just received AIP via the letter below: "Dear xxxxxx, This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class. It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent...
