No, i never went to the authorities and notified that i lost it. I just went and took another one as a renewal. And to be honest, having to notify that lost will take ages in my country and i just have a week left to send my application. I hope this doesn't matter much :/

Guys, im applying for my student permit in a week from now. My (real) uncle is helping me to pay for my studies in Canada. I was wondering if my uncle has to write a letter along with his bank statements attached saying that he will help me financially for the whole length of my stay in Canada...

Yea, i did lots of travels with the old one. My current passport though, is relatively new as I have renewed it last September 2013. Therefore the majority of my stamps are in the old one. Im really uncomfortable about this as i don't want to have a bad image in front of the immigration officer :/

Correct. I can include all my travels but i've lost my old passport with those stamps. Would that be a problem: if i dont provide my old traveling stamps? Or can i just write a letter explaining?
