Thread For applications Through SYDNEY (AUSTRALIA) Office

Landed today at Peach Ark! Woohoo! :) Flagpole went smoothly. 40min wait at the border (going on a Friday is the worst time). Filled out a form on the US side, then went to the Canada side with the form. The actual COPR-landing process took about 5min.

16 days from PPR received date (via registered mail to CPP-Ottawa). This is purely a guess based on how long it took others but I would say you have a 50/50 chance of getting it on time. It has taken some people as few as 8 days and around 4 weeks for some (if you sent PPR by email, then it's a...

My COPR is in transit according to my self-addressed Xpresspost tracking number (ETA 1 day) :o ... will let you all know what it says when I get it. 8) It would be about 16 days (19 days if COPR comes Monday) since my PPR stuff was received in Ottawa.

I'm guessing the case may be different (if your VO is Sydney and you later go to Canada and submit your PPR to Ottawa) than if you had your VO being Mississauga. It's been exactly 8 days for me and still nothing yet.

In same situation as you. Appendix B is just you. It has been 1 week for me since my PPR was received in Ottawa. Based on others, expecting to wait somewhere between 1 to 4 weeks more for COPR. Not much historical data for our situation, that's just a guess.

Received PPR! Question: The letter states to photocopy ALL pages in the passport. Does this mean I have to photocopy each and every page, including those that are blank (e.g., pages with no stamps)? The blank pages do show a background graphic which is a part of the passport (they aren't white...

Decision made today on ECAS. 8) How long does it usually take to go from this point to the PPR? A bit confused though. How can a decision be made if they have not received a copy/scan of the sponsored person's passport?

Does Appendix A, Appendix B and Appendix C come with the passport request? Or, are you referring to the Appendix in original application? (Sorry this may seem like a dumb question. I might have to go through the same process. Both sponsor and sponsored person are temporarily residing in Canada...

This is probably the lowest I have felt throughout this process so far ... knowing that I will likely have to wait until next year the way things are going. :( I really hope to see some movement or progress for those hitting the 6 month mark.

6 months would be awesome. I'm more worried about re-submitting documents that may become outdated (e.g., submitted 4 police checks, medical, etc). That would delay everything ... :-[ But it seems a bit odd how they just stopped all of a sudden ...
