I can't say for others but due dates are a joke in my case. I requested gcms notes twice so far and my application has pass both due dates yet still no updates. I gotta say CIC is among the least efficient government departments for a developed country.

Has anyone email CPC Ottawa lately? I usually get a reply within a week previously but its been almost 2 weeks and I still haven't heard from them. Also I didn't receive any confirmation email after I email them. It's not in my junk folder either.

Yup, same situation here. Got 2nd set of gcms notes already other than further review recommended theres nothing much worth noting. I've also consulted my consultant about this. I also like to add that the due date stated in the notes is by no means accurate...its just an estimation.

Oh crap, if you waited for 15 months without any requests/updates then I don't how much longer I have to wait. I'm a May 2013 applicant and still haven't received my medicals. Got the same standard reply when I email CIC .....useless.

If your reference letter contains some similar wordings thats acceptable but you have to elaborate and give details about your job duties. Have you requested for your GCMS notes?
