Good news guys!!! The embassy accepted the pension statement as form of proof of funds. Visa was also awarded. Will be arriving in Canada sometime in December 2014.

Thnx for responding guys. Here is what I plan to do. I am gonna pay one yr tuition and show the receipt. I will also show bank statement with about 5,900 CAD (cash) and a pension statement with about 6,000+ CAD payable to me immediately upon leaving the company for which i currently work.

Have you gotten a response as yet Ice berg? I contacted Mr. Andrew Kim and he told me that it is MUN's policy to send out post mails rather than emails because of the volume of applications they usually get.
