I know it is soooo frustrating when everyone else moves along and you're stuck for some reason. Hang in there :) try and enjoy the spring and distracts yourself (I know, easy to say, I check the progress wayyy to often myself)

    VIENNA OFFICE

In the email/letter I got it said the following: So yeah, send it to Düsseldorf/Berlin or just travel there. Only if you don't have to send in the passport, you can send the pictures and the remaining documents directly to Vienna.

Since this thread is in the family class part of the forum I assume no or not many. No idea what an ADR3 is. Doesn't exist in the family class. I'm surprised to hear express entry takes so long though (what does the express stand for? haha)

It's hard to give general timelines. BGC will depend where the applicant is from and the history (travel, living abroad citizenship etc). It took just over a month for me from the BGC to Decision made.

    VIENNA OFFICE

Congrats to you two. I'm glad everything worked out. Can't help to feel some envy though, it took us double the time to go through this crap, disrupting everything and putting life on hold. Well, gotta go forward from here, complaining doesn't help. :) Sorry for your loss though. People...

I received my COPR today. So finally this chapter is done. Can't say I'll miss it. You're good on track though. BR check lasted just over a month for me.

Jeez, calm down. People will not answer quicker because you posted a couple times. I didn't have to send in my passport just new pictures. However since I'm in Canada I sent it to Ottawa and they took exactly 10 business days until they sent it back (then another 2 days to make it here).

As far as I know they should cost about the same everywhere. Also there are only like 4 places listed on the CIC site to get it done, they have to be licensed to do so by immigration. Just phone around which place has the earliest open appointment. I only could get one about a month in advance.

Can't say anything about transfer of files between these offices. Vienna isn't the fastest. I'm waiting since December. Other people had better luck. Just check the timelines of people in this thread.

PPR for Outside Applicant currently in Canada

Hey there, I saw some posts indicating that this is possible but I want to verify. Got the PPR today and I'm from a visa exempt country but currently staying in Canada as a Tourist. The letter says that: "If you are currently residing in Canada and you need to send your passport to receive an...

Yes most likely they will ask for pictures from you again. But I don't quite get it, if its says 9 weeks left (which really doesn't mean anything, it's just exactly 12 months after your application was received), you must have send the package in just before me, beginning of July? And you...

@Eamalsa You didn't pay the RPRF at the beginning? I paid everything right away so don't have a clue. But I think the account doesn't matter much since you give them the number you receive after paying, then they can look it up. I also just got this "Request Letter" and it's one of the most...

    VIENNA OFFICE

@schweisy Yeah it strikes me how different the processes (or what messages are displayed when and where) are for people. I would have thought it's fairly standardized. We sent the application to Sydney. With the constant changes in forms and addresses where to send that was more of a guess as...
