On a side note, how long did it take you all to get the COPR after the passport request or after ecas said decision made? I was wondering if we went to the USA for a visit this weekend it would work for or against us.

Can you apply/register/get healthcare from ramq with copr or do you need to land? Do you know?

whats the best thing to do if we live in gatineau and want to cross border to get landed and then go to ramq montreal office to get healthcare right away - preston border then drive to montreal? recommendations/advice welcomed :) TY

It's basically a form you fill out with your name, gender, passport number, passport expiry, height, eye colour, preferred method of document return, and address for document return. I think document refers to passport, but not sure cuz it didn't apply to me, but I still filled it out.

Ecas still shows application received and medical received.

Got an email from Sydney requesting confirmation that passport is the same and completion of appendix b, which we completed right away.

Sydney office responded to my web enquiry by email today requesting a copy of the CSQ, which I quickly sent. I'm surprised that almost one month has passed and they haven't received a copy of the csq from micc...

thanks chief - we initially submitted our application in november, but it was returned incomplete. after finally receiving it back in february and it was lodged in march....time is important cuz we're expecting a child...and healthcare expenses are out of pocket...but true i should take it...
