Yes I received an automated email that my appl has been updated. I logged into my CIC and and checked the status

My appl status was also changed to closed and decision-approved but I haven't received my pp yet. LA consulate received it on 27th Jan. I guess they will be sending it soon.

Hi All, Here's my timeline: Applied online on Jan 20th 2014 Received passport request on Jan 23th 2014 (Was very surprised at how quick they made a decision :o) Sent pp to LA office and they received it on Jan 27th Waiting for my pp now.
