Are you sure it wasn't an unnamed LMO were your employer just put your name on it? I haven't heard of an LMO that takes almost 4 weeks since they received it to be approved, except in LCP. Good one though.. let's see if I ever gonna take it.. 20 weeks now.. Good luck!

I haven't heard an application taking that long. Usually if that happens, it means your application got declined and the employer tried again without notifying you.

I'm on my 18th week (Friday is my full week) on 2173, BC as well. It should be close (any day) according to my employer but they are not sure either. So you definitely have some more waiting.. Panos

Do be honest, I don't understand how you "drive the wages down" when the employer is obliged to pay at least the median wage of the province. If the argument is that "if they didn't have to pay the median wage on an TFW, then the wages will increase for the Canadians" then you might be right...
