Thanks... Yes they are working on 17th and a good day to always remember when I become a Canadian... part of big family... my oath location is Mississauga. I guess you can apply for passport only two days after your citizenship. That's what they advised on the invite letter I received.

Received oath invite yesterday, oath on 17th February.

Passed test and interview on 21st Jan. and ECAS changed to "decision made" this morning. The officer told us to expect oath invitation in 2 to 4 weeks.

Hello, I submitted my passports at Abu Dhabi on 20th April too and received it back on 13th May.

Thanks for comment Khattak007. If it is 4-6 weeks than why do they commit 10 working days (2 weeks) in writing. Mind you this is the only time a time-line is stipulated during the whole process!

Hello Friends...I have submitted my passport to Embassy of Canada in Abu Dhabi on 21st April and still waiting to receive it back, though letter sent earlier confirmed that passport will be returned within 10 working days. Anyone is facing similar situation?

Hello, I applied for FSW May 2013 program from Dubai and my application was received on May 10, 2014. Apart from receiving application/file number in July 2013, I have not had any information so far. Can anyone share their experience on this new program. Thanks
