Has anyone landed at Pacific Central Station in Vancouver in 2015? I am considering this option of taking train from Seattle, and landing at the station. I am curious to know if anyone has done it recently.

You need to apply for it at the nearest Japanese embassy or consulate. You need to get a form, and have finger prints taken. I did it in Vancouver, and the consulate no longer takes finger prints there. You need to go to the local police office or private agencies to have them taken.

Manila office is responsible for applications from several countries. I cannot post a link here but their website lists which countries they are responsible for.
