hi...my passport was received in embassy on Nov 1st..and i have to check with my bank as to when they have en cashed the cashiers check...its more than 35 days now..and i have not received my passport back.... Are you still waiting or you have received your passport?

yes..i have a visa appointment on Dec 16th...and ya you are right...processing time is 32 days.....and sure it does not look like its true.... is there a way to contact them and ask to expedite the whole thing????

I am in similar situation as you are Application received -- Nov 1 As of now 35 days have passed..and on Dec 15th i have travel plans for canada....wondering if i need to cancel my trip >:(

hi...i am also in the same boat...i filled through mail and my documents were received on Nov 1st and till now there is no update on the status. I have visa interview scheduled on Dec 16th and now i am sure if i will get the passport in time or not :((((
