Yes there is usually a delay of 10-20 days between sending the fingerprints and it showing to be received on the tracker.

Yes you are right about taking picture of the id. It took me a few tries to get a picture that seemed at least satisfactory. Mind you even then I thought the photo wasn't perfect. if it makes you feel any better, I also used my MacBook Pro for the test. So don't worry too much. You'll be fine...
