Just a quick update. Landed on last Friday at Carway. Left Calgary 1:30 PM. Got Carway about 4:30PM. Total about 1 h for the whole process. Had to drive back in a dark and drifted snow condition for 3 hours. Got back to Calgary at 8 pm They asked for previous permits and surrendered them. So...

dont worry now. Most people got DM before PPR here.

I sent my PP from Calgary to Ottawa. It took total about 2 weeks to get them back.

I sent it to the courier address. From other post I found it actually does not make difference. It will get to them without time delay in both ways.

It took 7 days for mine to arrive. In the meantime, take photos and prepare xpresspost. Once you received PPR you can sent them right away.

Depending on which day of last week. I think you should give CIC at least 5 business days to issue PPR

Suggest to apply for the bridging open work permit now. The PR varies case by case. Nobody knows the result until you become a PR.

Have you tried to consider CEC instead of FSW?
