It has been exactly 3 months since my application was received by CIC (March 12). So far no update yet. i guess 15 days back when i called CIC and was told they still dont have any info on system. the agent also mentioned if CIC return the application they put note on the system. So not sure...

Has anyone recently called to CIC to inquire about AOR? i called today and the agent told me he cant see my file on the system, so not sure what 's happened...my application was received on march 12, 2014 (CPC-M), according to Canada Post tracking.

Hi Sophiee, Are u applying OWP or student permit? we included OWP in sponsorship application. My wife is on study permit, which is gonna expire in 3 months. I talked to CIC on this and as mentioned in earlier posts they always say my wife ll get implied status as soon as her study permit...

i sent my spouse sponsorship application on March 8 and received by the CIC on 12 March, 2014. I sent OWP alongwith sponsorship application to CPC-M in the same envelop.

i called CIC last week and was informed by the agent that my file in queue for test. he also mentioned if i don't get the test date by the end of july i should contact to CIC.

i am about to file application for spousal sponsorship (in land). i have a question whether i have to send sponsorship application and open work permit application together (in one envelop) to the same place CPC-M, and which form i should use for open work application. Thanks in advance
