No message from CIC. And if the USPS tracking system is working, I may know it and come back waiting for the postman, but it is not.

I think mine is also back. This evening, I received a note from USPS saying that they missed me (as I am not at home in daytime), I'll just go to pick up my envelope tomorrow morning.

No. I know that they received it only from the tracking number. Based on the various forum posts, they never confirm to receive your passport. They seem do sometimes send you email saying that your passport is stamped, and it will be sent to you soon. However, some other people also say that...

Have you already received your passport? Did they give you any information (from CIC) before you get your passports from the mail system? P.S I applied online on Sep 11, sent my passport to NY (transit visa) on Sep 24, and I'm still waiting for it to come back.

I submitted the online form for TRV on sep 11 2013, got the reply from cic on sep 23 2013 , sent my passport to new York consulate on sep 24 2013, but haven't got any updated information after that.
