    Can we get married in the U.S. but live in Canada immediately after?

    Hi, My partner and I would like to get married in the United States (he is American, I am Canadian) but live in Canada almost immediately afterwards. Does getting married in America delay the process for him being able to cross over the border - will it mean that we have to live separately...
