We received my wife's CoPR today from the courier. We will head to Lewiston bridge crossing on Saturday to complete the process since I read that it's not as busy as other border crossings. This entire process took a year to complete. Thanks to everyone here for all the advice and information.

I contacted my MP's office as well and found out that my wife has been approved. Her documents have been printed and should be sent soon.

I was wondering how long does it take to be contacted by CIC once it has made a decision on a case. A decision was made on my wife's application at the end of August but nothing has arrived in the mail.

Congratulations Bartjones! What a journey for you and your wife. In our case, hopefully Manila sent the docs to our Canadian address, which we gave them, and not the Korean address we put on the application.

Yes I brought the sample of the application for the criminal check. All the information that is required is on the criminal check document that we received. There's no issue with what is said on the document. I'm just wondering why the official seal is printed instead of stamped.
