Thanks! Where did you park? Did you park elsewhere and walk to the bridge or is there a place to park by the bridge?

We received my wife's CoPR today from the courier. We will head to Lewiston bridge crossing on Saturday to complete the process since I read that it's not as busy as other border crossings. This entire process took a year to complete. Thanks to everyone here for all the advice and information.

I contacted my MP's office as well and found out that my wife has been approved. Her documents have been printed and should be sent soon.

I was wondering how long does it take to be contacted by CIC once it has made a decision on a case. A decision was made on my wife's application at the end of August but nothing has arrived in the mail.

Congratulations Bartjones! What a journey for you and your wife. In our case, hopefully Manila sent the docs to our Canadian address, which we gave them, and not the Korean address we put on the application.

Thanks for responding. We submitted the application at the end of October last year and I was approved two weeks later. In June, Manila sent us an email requesting additional documents, which we provided except for a police check from Beijing (she was an international student there in 2006-7)...

My wife's application status recently updated to Decision Made. Is there a chance she was rejected?

Just an update. Manila sent my wife a request for documents for her application. They requested the Appendix A, a certificate of entry and exit, and a police check from China. The last document is becoming a challenging task. My wife studied in China as an international student from 2004-2007...

Sorry to hear about your situation Bartjones. It's starting to get ridiculous. Update on our situation. My wife and I just arrived in Canada. Went through immigration in Vancouver without any issues. I told them my wife's PR application was being processed and that she was visiting me in...

Thanks Korea2Canada and CanAsian. I expected it to be two weeks once CanAsian said he got his in that time. I feel that Manila might be a bit slower now for us after the typhoon happened. Other applications may be given priority. This is what happened to my friend's Japanese friend who got...

A question about the receipt. Do I use my current address in Korea or the Canadian address on the credit card I used for online payment?

Hi Everyone, I am almost done putting the application together. The final task is getting the Korean documents translated and notorized. Can anyone recommend a place in Seoul? Thanks.

Yes I brought the sample of the application for the criminal check. All the information that is required is on the criminal check document that we received. There's no issue with what is said on the document. I'm just wondering why the official seal is printed instead of stamped.

I have a question about the Korean criminal check. My wife showed me the criminal check she obtained from the police station and the official square seal was printed instead of stamped with ink on the document. Was this the case for your wives' criminal check? I ask because all the other...
