Hi C Trini, thanks. They have magic jack so that will definitely be helpful for us and I am helping them to get the Canadian Visas before I leave so they can visit. They already have multiple US visas so hopefully they don't get trouble with the Canadian one. I will be in Scarborough for the first.

sorry hubby just told me that the rate dropped. It's now $6000 here so it should be between TT180 - TT190 if the rate is standard

They might not give too much trouble if it was already certified by them.

You could take both to the interview and then leave the notarized copy with them. What hubby and I did was have the high commission here notarize the copy. It costs about GY$10,000.00 here. If it's a standard rate, it should be about TT$300.

Hi Ms. D. there were of important documents like those in the original application and when they returned my passport, all of those came back with it. If they try to hold onto it during the interview I don't think it would hurt to ask about it's return. Good Luck! DL

I had the same thoughts... the last time i had applied for a Canadian visa, they spelled my name wrong. Luckily all went smoothly this time :D. @ Millslu - that would be amazing. I can imaging a plane ride like that no one would sleep. We'd be too excited and chattering all the time. :D
