Do the Visa Officers change every 2 years???

Hi there, my wife's application for PR was refused on one section ''(4)'' and I did not appeal.. simply because it takes way to long here in Toronto (2years) instead we chose to re-apply. I have been living with my wife in her country for 9 months and I do not need to wait a year to re-apply...

Thanks for your replies. No I do not have to wait a year for re-applying I am a Canadian Citizen and have found out already before I came here 8 months ago. Did anyone had to go throught an interview? (married couples)

I went through an Interview with my wife. It is not a easy thing, it is usually about 2 hours long sometimes more and is very intimidating. the VO will ask very personal questions about you and your spouses intimate life and clothing etc. and all the questions will be asked in a very confusing...

Sponsorship living outside Canada with my wife.. same visa officer???

So I am a Canadian Citizen and I have been living in my wife's home country with her for over 8 months now. My wife's PR App. was refused on ''not genuine'' and also some allegations regarding a cousin of mine who had come to Canada and left her husband because he was a drug addict. Our Refusal...

Canadian Citizen re-apply after refusal while living with spouse overseas

Yes that is the reason CIC is tough to convince now and also this is not fair to Canada, but it is what it is that issue happens in the USA, Canada, Australia and so on, but unlike those countries Canada is fragile, at least in my opinion. there is no question about our genuine (now anyways)...

Canadian Citizen re-apply after refusal while living with spouse overseas

Apparently for CIC you dont need much proof of allegations. A simple letter or phone call from someone making allegations on your case is enough which is really sad. but visa officers will always take it into account. CIC thinks everyone wants to come to Canada but that is actually not the case...

Which Visa Office is for Ireland???

Yes she had been approved for residency allowing employment. I have never heard of that rule that a Visa Office cannot be used until 1 year in the resident country. Like I said I am a Canadian Citizen so I may sponsor from any country as long as im a resident of it.

Canadian Citizen re-apply after refusal while living with spouse overseas

The Reason it was deemed not genuine because I had not spent enough time with my wife and a letter sent by a jealous member of the family who claimed that our marriage was a fraud... which is a common thing I heard, my wife and I are leaving for Ireland in 2 weeks from her country. For her...

Just Landed 2 months ago my wife the sponsor wants a divorce.

Sorry to say but CIC will definetly be on the side of the Canadian Sponsor. CIC will likely hear your case but the chances of them believing an immigrant's story of a sponsor just up and saying ''dont want you need my life back cya'' will be pretty difficult, no doubt they will be hard-pressing...

Canadian Citizen re-apply after refusal while living with spouse overseas

I just wanted some information on Canadian Citizens sponsoring spouses while living overseas with them. Our sponsorship was refused on one ground after interview which was the usual ''not genuine'' and so we I have been living together overseas with my wife for over 6 months now. I chose not to...

Apply for my wifes immigration when I am outside Canada

You should not apply for a Visitor Visa for your wife... CIC (immigration Canada) will definetly refuse it based on the uncertainty of your wife staying once she has arrived. You would probably be better off if you applied for a Open Work Permit or Study Permit for your wife depending on her...

If I am living with my spouse abroad.. is a visa issued after intent right away?

Thanks for your reply So does this mean there is no scrutinizing decision on the application such as bad faith and a visa is simply given if my intent is shown with proof?? or still it is assessed on bad faith and similar requirements then a decision is made.

I am a Canadian Citizen and I have been living with my spouse in her country for 3 months now.. our first application was denied based on bad faith..
