Quick question...I am already living and working in Canada and so is my common law partner... We don't have to provide proof of funds when going to the border do we ? (actually may be getting an appointment at the local cic office if we are lucky!!) :)

GOT OUR COPR IN THE MAIL TODAY!! It took 7 days from when it went to DM on the ECAS! Soo happy :)

Where is your nomination for ? What province ? Try and search for an actual contact in your province for immigration. If you call the call centre it can take time. I got a nomination extended in one day earlier this year.

Re: SINP @ work permit extension Yeah if you can contact someone at Sask Immigration to extend the Nomination they should do it for you. I have had an extension before. I think they can only extend it so many times and for so long though. Don't call the call centre...search sask immigration on...

Well in the letter it was pretty clear from me that i thought the COPR wouldn't arrive in time and therefore wouldn't leave us enough time to get an appointment or even flagpole potentially. I hope they know what they are doing there in London. :-X
