Sponsoring my Korean wife for permanent residency

We went to the Carway border crossing and it was pretty fast. Not busy when we got there and we were in and out in under 30 min. We left Calgary around 7 or 8 I think. American border guys were pretty nice too.

I think if you put your email down as way of contact , your adress shouldnt matter because they will send your sponsor approval by email and then thats pretty much the last contact they will have with you. Your wifes address is important as thats where they will eventually send the copr

We sent mostly all size #6 boxes. Canada allows it. We ended up sending 10 boxes all together. Some arrived before we got here and the rest arrived after. We didn't have any problems with the shipping and they all arrived in about 4 weeks except for our first 2 because there was a strike at...

We got our package in a big DHL envelope as well. They sent back all our pics and supporting documents so if you sent a lot that could explain the size of the envelope. Just look for the nice long paper that should be the COPR. Let us know the results before we send out congrats.

Sponsoring my Korean wife for permanent residency

From personal experience, if you are able to get together the documents they requested and send off right away you might have a better chance of them finishing your application quicker. They only asked me for proof that i plan to live in Canada. It made it easier since I was already in Canada...

Currently at the Carway border. US side was ok. They gave my wife an admission refusal slip which i think just shows that we entered the states and are coming back. US border guys were surprisingly nice. Canada side took our passports, gave us a slip and said to park and come in. Walked into...
