I send my passport + Police check record receipt to them by Hong Kong Courier service. And it was received. At mid of Nov 2013, I received their mail for other document. So I supposed they received my passport before. Thanks for reply.

Thanks for your reply. Do they state in the website that people from visa-exempt countries don't have to send their passports in ? Just afraid they will give me back the passport and, at the same time, rejected my application. :-[

I submitted a self-explanation letter to VO at Nov 2013. And at Jan 2014, I submitted other proofs for the intention. I have been waiting for 2 weeks after that. They collected my passport for 4 months already. Good luck for you too ! Hope we can get positive reply from VO. :D

same here. I submitted my passport at Sep 2013. In between these months, we submitted other proofs of sponsor's intention reside in Canada as they requested. Do u get any reply letter from Visa Officer after submitted your passport ?

CIC sent me a letter. Wrong email address of mine, and, wrong SPONSOR name ! How come ? Besides the wrong email and the name, other informations is correct. Just wonder where I can report this to correct this. Luckily they send me a letter by mail , not an email. If by email, I won't receive it...
