After my sponsor was interviewed 3 weeks ago, My Letter of approval arrived with me today!

I'm guessing that if you were asked for additional docs or IELTS, then your application is only considered once they are all submitted. Meaning that even though I applied in May 2012, my ILETS results arrived with MPNP in October 2012 so I suspect that in the eyes of the MPNP I would be an Oct...

ibad17 I called a month or so ago as my application (by mail) had reached the 1 year mark and still awaiting Sponsor interview. I asked the lady if this was a usual processing time or should I expect further waiting, fearing that I may have become lost in the system. Her only reply was to sigh...

Like you Aman, I too had to submit additional documents. Maybe they count our application not from the initial application but from when they received all the documents?

Aman, do we know if there is a specific reason for such a long wait, or is it simply sheer weight of applications?
