I Landed in Winnipeg airport on Sunday and they did not make me sign any consent form. The officer told me that now when i am a permanent resident i have the same rights as Canadian citizens. He said i can live and work anywhere in Canada.

I did both! Sent them a letter and ticket copy with passport and then followed up with an email in about a week. They replied yesterday that my visa is isued and thry are mailing my passport back in the morning. Was impressed actually! So the passport arrived today. Took only one day!

14 Days in my case. CIC received my passport on October 4 and my tracker got activated on October 17! out for delivery now! I should get it today! Yay! 2.5 years of processing time is over now!
