I have my fingerprints done over the weekend. Does anyone know how long it takes the RCMP to complete the fingerprint check?

Coolguysam, Sounds like there is a good chance I could get the finger prints in the mail. After reading more post here I guess it is more of a routine request and fingers crossed the process will keep moving forward. Thanks for sharing your friend's experience.

Oh my, I am glad I did not trust my interpretation of the rules. So, using would the Saturday to Sunday over night weekend trip be a 1 day trip on my calculation sheet?

I am calculating my days out of the country and I am have made a lot of overnight trips on Saturdays and return n Sunday. Am I correct in assuming that these short trips do not need to be included on the calculation of days out of the country? Thanks

If I leave Canada and return to the US having satisfied my 730 day requirement, and I stay, say for 10 years in the US- and my PR card will have been expired for 7 years. Could I at that time renew my PR card and return to Canada for another 5 year period?
