Going public is another good one. Twitter or contact news papers/cbc. They don't like negative publicity in a election year. After all, cons doesn't want to come across as they are anti immigrants.

Did CIC ask about your short fall at the interview? Have they reviewed your RQ before the interview? In my case, my RQ is still waiting to be reviewed at the time of the interview. I do not think they looked at my dates properly.

I called the CIC today to get an update. They said they cannot access my file to check the status until 6 months after the test. If I don't hear from them within the next 6 months then I should send a case specific inquiry. New rules apparently. Bloody hell! :o

Djoli, why do you think you got RQ? In my case, I travelled a lot for business.

I had my test on June 3rd too. Did they have your RQ response reviewed before the interview? My RQ response has not been reviewed and the interviewer said they need time to review it. My test/interview was in Mississauga. Where was yours?

My interview was like 5 minutes. Officer said she is satisfied with my file. She also pointed out that my RQ response has not been reviewed yet and they will be in touch. :o

I'm from 2012 too. I did my test a couple weeks ago. I was told that they haven't reviewed my RQ response yet. I thought whole point of the interview was to clarify any questions they have. Nope. I sense another questionnaire will be heading my way or it's back on the pile gathering dust again.

My invitation says I have to bring all the supporting documents sent with the citizenship application form. Does this mean I have to bring 2 new photos as well?

Couldn't 2 pieces of IDs be PR card and health card?

When CIC request you to bring old passports to the test, does this mean old passports prior to coming to Canada as well or just the old passports after coming to Canada?

It's ridiculous to say we are overwhelming CIC. I haven't had any response from CIC since May 2013. That's nearly 2 Years. 2 years without any response?? That's unacceptable. I think we should continue to call CIC and escalate as much as possible. We wouldn't be calling if we get updates...

Are you sure? CIC is god in this case.

I'm wondering if I should send a case specific inquiry. How do you send it?
