Hi Friend. I have used a SBI DD, and my DD was encashed 13th July and PER received yesterday :) biggest disadvantage with a DD is you cannot track when it is encashed. whereas ironically DD is the most reliable without any CC hassles like Secure Pin.

@civeng. Just hang in there. our patience pays off eventually. you will soon have your PER mail in your inbox. Wife and me cried when we saw the mail. This wait is emotionally very Taxing. but its worth it ;)

Hi Sameer, Even i am Noc 3142, my application was received on 15th May and mode of payment was DD, since there is no way of knowing when the DD is encashed, i guess my only hope lies in waiting for the PER if any :) what is your progress with your application so far?

coincidentally both Sandy and my application were received on 15th almost at the same time and both were signed by Mike, only difference lies in the mode of payment. Mine was a DD. When did your application reach CIC and what is your mode of payment?

initially through a consultant who vanished into thin air. so pursued it by myself with loving and caring inputs from this Forum Members.

Hi MightyGill, No news about the DD Encashment as yet. you know how it is in India, it will take Ages to get info on whether DD was encashed or not. only hope here is waiting for PER if it comes in ;)
