ecas has just updated now...it now says "in process" and when you click it , it has an extra line...we have started processing your application on xxxxx...

i think you have the option to apply for an extension of work permit if you already have the positive response from the PNP but since it is still under processing you can apply for a visitor's visa so you dont have to leave BC. please call the immigration hotline and they are very helpful to...
