    Inland, I got AIP and OWP 3months ago, And I received email that my file got transferred to Vancouver office, which is my local office for further assessment. And they said that they may ask for more documents or evidences etc... Meanwhile, one of my friends applied same category PR 2months...

    Hi, I'm an inland applicant. First stage approved on Jan 2, waiting for pr status now. I know CIC says second stage takes 8months, but I've seen some people got it after 2,3months, Just wondering those people are special, just got lucky, or in general?
